I completed my paramedic training through New River Community and Technical College while employed at Princeton Rescue Squad, Princeton WV. My paramedic training was an intense, condensed ten month program. Prior to successfully completing the paramedic program I had worked as an EMT Basic as well.
 
Experience
 
I have been in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for 15 years. Serving in a variety of positions throughout the time ranging from training officer, to head of QA/QI.
Students explore and apply the fundamentals of EMS, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology while demonstrating skills in assessing and managing patient care, including assessing the scene and understanding shock, resuscitation, and trauma.
