Heavy Duty Equipment Technology

A course designed to teach general maintenance and overhaul of diesel equipment, students learn to inspect, maintain, and repair trucks, wheels, brakes, operating controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical circuitry, and engines as well as welding and brazing techniques.  Students who successfully complete this program sequence will be prepared to take and pass the respective ASE/NATEF exam and will be prepared for postsecondary education opportunities.
