CBES will be conducting a lockdown drill within the next two weeks. This will only be a drill.

Richlands Elementary School will be open on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. All schools will be open on regular schedule.
Due to a water line break & needed repairs, Richlands Elementary School will be closed Tuesday, August 20, 2024. This is only for Richlands Elementary School. All other schools & offices will be open for school.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. George Brown, former TCPS superintendent, assistant superintendent, administrator, teacher, coach, and dedicated educational leader and mentor. He spent 50 years in public education and left a lasting impact on the communities served by Tazewell County Public Schools.
